Welcome!

I created this blog for two main purposes:

1. to write reviews of other people's work

2. to write about my sometimes humorous and sometimes less than exciting experiences in
the world of writing

I hope that reading pots about the second enlightens, entertains, and amuses you. Sometimes it's great to read about what other authors are going through in their quests for publications. It's one of those "hey, I'm not alone!" moments that help get me through discouraging times, along with God's grace.
I hope that in reading posts about the first category you'll find books you'll want to read for fun and for developing your craft. Enjoying reading is to important to writers, and even when it's hard for us to turn off our inner editors and critiquers, it's something worth doing. Reading for craft is also a great idea because it helps you improve your own writing and familiarizes you with the genre (or genres) you are writing for. Either way, I won't be reviewing books on this site that I don't think have some merit, so if you see a recommendation, I really mean it.
